Castmark Press publishes study guides for people preparing for a specific exam on a specific date — commercial drivers, project managers, teachers — and, increasingly, the software that goes with them.
6 books are in print today. Each one is written for a single exam rather than a family of them, because the thing that actually decides a pass is usually local: which agency issues the credential, which form, which waiting period, which endorsement your state calls something else.
Every practice question in our books is written for that book. They are not official examination questions and we do not present them as such — no book of ours claims to reproduce an official question count, weighting, sequence, layout or score.
Where we can, each question carries a separate explanation for every option, not one sentence about the correct letter. Knowing why the answer you were drawn to is wrong is most of the value.
A printed answer key can tell you that you were wrong. It cannot tell you what you keep getting wrong, or which chapter repairs it. Our companion apps do that part — free with the book, no account, and offline once loaded, because a lot of our readers study somewhere with one bar of signal.
An app never holds a second copy of a question. It reads the same records the book was typeset from, so a correction reaches the page, the app, the flashcards and the audio at the same moment.
Rules change and books go to print. When we are told about an error we correct it in the next printing and log it publicly, with the date, on the updates page. Nothing is quietly edited away. Tell us if you find one.
Castmark Press is an independent publisher. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by PMI, any state licensing agency, the FMCSA, the Florida Department of Education, CompTIA, or any other certifying body or government agency. Our books explain rules for study; the issuing agency’s current instructions always win, and every book says where to check them.
